(almost) an epic fail

I was wanting to make myself a purse to take to church & stuff. It's not like I have money or a cell phone or anything (LOL), so I just wanted something to take my notepad & pen & such in there.....so I cast on & made up as I went......and I wanted something felted..and here is the 'end' result.

I've put it aside until I can take it to the laundry mat & use a machine with an agitator & I will need to buy straps for it.

because I'm the silliest knitter I know.

I recently was given a Vintage Knitting pattern book & I assumed it was the 'vintage' sizes & I made this wrap (shrug) and it's WAYYYYYYYY too big for me. I guess I'm not a large after all.
